Evaluation of the Processes of the Company Proarsa for ISO 18788:2015 Certification

Abstract

Currently, citizen security has become very important for the inhabitants, which has caused growth in the private security services industry in Costa Rica in recent years. Proarsa recognizes the importance of adopting international standards to guarantee effectiveness and quality of its operations. ISO 18788 is a global reference point for creating and maintaining effective security management systems. The project aims to evaluate the security processes at Proarsa to guarantee compliance with the requirements of the ISO 18788 Standard. With this evaluation, it will be possible to identify areas of opportunity, gaps in procedures and current policies, in order to formulate strategic proposals to guide the company towards effective application of the standard. The Standard will ensure an orderly framework for the security management system and foster trust among clients by demonstrating the company’s commitment to excellence in offering private security services.
