General Instructions
Individuals wishing to submit their scientific articles must register on the Journal’s website and follow the general instructions provided there. It is important to review and comply with the Journal’s formatting guidelines.
Articles are accepted in Spanish, English, or Portuguese. From 6 to 10 pages, single column. File format is Word, single spacing, Times New Roman font size 10. Images must be received in high definition.
The required sections for scientific articles are: Abstract, Key Words, Resumen, Palabras Clave, 1. Introduction, 2. Methodology, 3. Results, 4. Discussion, 5. Conclusions, References. The article must be written using gender-inclusive language. Manuscripts in other formats, such as essays, must include: Abstract, Key Words, Resumen, Palabras Clave, 1. Introduction, 2. Development, 3. Conclusion, References; for case studies: Abstract, Key Words, Resumen, Palabras Clave, 1. Introduction, 2. Case Description, 3. Method, 4. Results, 5. Discussion, 6. Conclusion, References; for literature reviews: Abstract, Key Words, Resumen, Palabras Clave, 1. Introduction, 2. Methodology, 3. Results, 4. Discussion, 5. Conclusions, References; for Law articles: Abstract, Key Words, Resumen, Palabras Clave, 1. Introduction, 2. Development, 3. Conclusions, References.
All types of manuscripts must be written in APA format (latest edition) as the bibliographic reference system and must maintain a sober, simple structure with logical-argumentative grounding. The facts presented must be consistent with the introduction and the structure of the method.

Once the article meets the formatting guidelines established by the Journal, the author may upload it to the official platform. Once the above is completed, the author must fill out, with their personal data and signature, the Cover Letter. This letter must be sent to the Journal’s email in digital format. Articles will not be reviewed if the Journal has not received the Cover Letter, which can be found at the following link: COVER LETTER
Withdrawal of articles
To withdraw articles from the editorial process, an email request must be sent to revista@ufidelitas.ac.cr. The withdrawal becomes effective upon receiving an email from the Journal indicating the removal of the manuscript from the editorial process.
